The veins entwined around the sullied heart

March 28, 2010

The veins entwined around the sullied heart
Though squeeze and strain can never make it still.
Though pumping blackish blood to all her parts
Will always beat with twisted knotted will.

The captured soul that’s living in the past
Is walled inside by walls that do not move
Though evil lurks in shadows that are cast
Upon the walls by light of lasting love

But there it is! The offering of grace
Untangling all the knots that hem you in.
It shatters down the hardened walls and place
A palace in your heart that’s fit for kings.

Since He intends to live inside of you
I trust that He will heal you by the truth
