I don’t need to be right all the time.

November 6, 2008

Because I’m wrong sometimes. In fact I’m wrong most of the time.

I must decrease; He must increase.

“Humility, as we all know, is one of those virtues that is never gained by seeking it.” Forgetfulness of self can only be achieved when we are mindful of something or someone else.  We become mindful of God when we fill our minds with the things of God – through meditation, studying, but most of all, through service.  For when we serve others the things we learn are reinforced.
